On Monday, January 20th, 2014 Montgomery County we celebrated the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service! We joined with thousands of Americans across the country who celebrated the national holiday honoring the life and work of Dr. King by doing service in their communities. Lots of folks came to volunteer with us in putting together bags of toiletries and baby Items for the Avery Road Treatment Center’s Women and Children Shelter as part of the Martin Luther King Day of Service! Thank you to all of you who took the time to join hands in this show of good will and community partnership.
